Our humble one day a week “coffee room” has a very limited menu. We only serve hot drinks, and we have a limited repertoire of syrups. The exception? One rotating signature drink. It’s usually a doozy.
We are a specialty coffee roastery. All of our coffees fit into a miniscule category belonging to a class that score 80+ out of 100 points on coffee tasting scales. These scores are given by not only our importers, but also by our own expert grader and tasters.

The current definition of Specialty Coffee is: “A coffee, or coffee experience, recognized for its distinctive attributes that have a higher value in the marketplace.” Our coffee fits that definition, but our signature drink hits the “coffee experience” mark.
What is in a signature drink? It all starts with over-the-top excellent coffee. Our espresso drinks have our Legacy Espresso Blend as the base. Legacy is made from 3 coffees: Brazil, for it’s smooth, chocolaty and nutty flavor adding a satisfying mouthfeel, Guatemala for a pop of citrus acidity and Ethiopian Yirgacheffe for is sweet berry aromatics.
Second in importance is the creation of a house-made syrup with natural flavors. We love to use natural botanicals. We have created a sweet basil syrup, rose-vanilla with real dried roses among other flavors.
Last is a garnish that sits on the top of the latte to add to the visual and flavor experience, adding a special presentation to beautiful latte art. Crushed rose petals, and cracked black pepper were innovative garnishes adding an aromatic element, and a unique presentation overall.
Putting together unusual flavors sets us apart from other coffee experiences giving people something new to try and a reason to look forward to coming to our one and only open day each week.
