About the ICI
The Idaho Coffee Institute provides professional, industry-level coffee education and training.
Nicole Bluto is an Authorized Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) Trainer in Sensory as well as teaching Introduction to Coffee, and the Introduction to Cupping Workshop. Nicole is also a Q Arabica Grader licensed by the Coffee Quality Institute and simultaneously holds the Evolved Q Certification and Q Arabica Grader Instructor Certification for the SCA.
Jassen holds the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) Professional Coffee Roaster Certificate as we all Intermediate Sensory Certificate
Our programs are designed for professionals, aspiring coffee experts, and business owners who want to deepen their knowledge, strengthen quality control, and elevate the coffee experience from seed to cup.
Moscow Idaho
Moscow is a scenic destination, minutes from the Moscow-Pullman Airport, an hour and a half south of the Spokane airport, nestled between University of Idaho and Washington State University. There is an adorable downtown with dining, music and shopping. Every Saturday from May - October you can enjoy a bustling farmer's market. The best in the state.

The major hotels nearby are The Best Western and La Quinta Inn, and the Monarch is an updated Motel in the middle of the Downtown corridor. There are a large number of adorable Airbnb's as well.
Introduction to Coffee (live online)
$250 plus optional materials
For groups, afficionados and anyone interested in the way we use our senses to enjoy coffee, how coffee is grown and roasted and tasted. This class is about an hour , includes 3 coffees and is given in the lab or can be presented at any location. This class is by appointment only.
